Fantastic sound work here. Another personal favorite. Snowflake starts with some more dubby basslines and develops into something rather weird and confusing musically/5().

Feb 05,  · Heya folks, i've been recording some music in a kind of 50's 'popcorn' style to my 4-track TEAC A I used a Sennheiser MD21 on all instruments to get a bit more of a 'retro' sound, but obviously the 80's TEAC isn't going to give me a 50's sound.

It sounds like nothing except music goes through it! My previous receiver a NAD simply cannot hold a candle to the liquidity of the music that comes out through the speakers. Instruments in an Orch can be easily defined left to right and front to back even height!. I use the Passive mode for late night listening and soft chamber music/5(98).

It's the "Work While You Still Can" tour, doing Music For Workers: it's Pittsburgh's avant-gardiste-about-town Stephen Pellegrino and the rest of the LOSER Chamber Ensemble doing a number of the Work Pieces, as well as some new compositions.

Lots of bangy chords between the piano and orchestra and a semblance of an extended and jolly tune that I will call the dum dubby-dubby-dub motif. There’s lots of the dum dubby-dubby-dub in the next 6 minutes or so – so get used to it. Eventually after some good-natured frolicking we get to a gentler more sedate tune-ette in the piano.

Conceptual with far reaching, intelligent lyrics, all wrapped in great Beatleseque melodies and elegant pop arrangements that also bring to mind Brian Wilson and Van Dyke Parks.
